The clip starts with Deepika's 'Mangal Lakshmi' costar Naman Shaw, who plays veteran star Dharmendra's character 'Veeru', saying the famous line, “Basanti don't dance in front of these dogs.”
The twist comes when Deepika replies: “No, as long as I live, I will make a reel.”

After this the actress starts dancing on the song 'Haan Jab Tak Hai Jaan' sung by late singer Lata Mangeshkar. This song was originally filmed on Dharmendra, Hema Malini and Amjad Khan. Amjad Khan played the role of villain Gabbar Singh in the film.
