Mumbai, Ahead of Navratri starting on October 3, actress Rashmi Desai shared her 'desi girl' look with fans.
Rashmi shared three of her pictures on Instagram. In this, she is seen in a golden yellow Sharara suit. The actress is wearing a golden dupatta with it. She completed her look with a choker, flowers in her hair and light makeup. She gave many great poses in front of the camera.
Rashmi, a resident of Assam, is originally a Gujarati and started her acting career in 2002 with the Assamese language film 'Kanyadan'.
The 38yearold actress made her Bollywood debut in 2004 with the romantic mystery 'Yeh Lamhe Judaai Ke' alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Raveena Tandon.
The actress has also worked in several other Bhojpuri films such as 'Kab Hoi Gavana Hamaar', 'Sohagan Bana Da Sajna Hamaar', 'Nadiya Ke Teer', 'Gajab Bhail Rama' and 'Kangana Khanke Piya Ke Angna'.
She made her television debut in 2006 with the mythological show 'Raavan'. In it, she played the role of Rani Mandodari. She got her first break in TV in 2008, when she played a double role in 'Pari Hoon Main'.
Rashami was the winner of the reality show 'Zara Nachke Dikha 2' and later participated in 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5', 'Comedy Ka Maha Muqabla', 'Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 6', 'Nach Baliye 7', 'Bigg Boss 13' and 'Bigg Boss 15'.
The actress rose to fame playing the role of Tapasya in the show “Uttaran”. She married her costar from the show Nandish Sandhu in February 2011. But their marriage did not last. They decided to separate in 2014. In 2015, the couple filed for divorce after almost four years of marriage and it was finalised in 2016.
In 2018, the actress met Arhaan Khan, who was seen with the actress in the 13th season of “Bigg Boss” hosted by Salman Khan in 2019. He proposed to Rashami and she accepted on national TV.
Later, Salman revealed that Arhaan was already married and had a child, which he had hidden from Desai. Rashami and Arhaan separated after coming out of the show.
