Mumbai . Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar was one of the early voters for the Maharashtra Assembly elections. Actors included in the list of stars who wake up early in the morning stood in the queue and exercised their franchise.
Voting started at 7 am and 'Khiladi' star Akshay Kumar was the first to arrive from Bollywood.
The star wore a black shirt with beige trousers and white sneakers while visiting the polling booth. Akshay also greeted the photographers standing near the polling stations and said 'good morning' to them.
After casting his vote, he showed an inked finger and talked about a well maintained system. He said, “The arrangements here are very good, because I can see that the arrangements for senior citizens are very good and cleanliness has been taken care of. I want everyone to come out and cast their vote.”
Akshay was last seen in Rohit Shetty's 'Singham Again' alongside Ajay Devgan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Jackie Shroff and Arjun Kapoor.
In the last 2 years, Akshay Kumar is struggling for success after many of his films flopped at the box office.
Akshay's two very important projects include 'Jolly LLB 3' and 'Housefull 5'. There are also reports that he may also work in the sequel of 'Bhagam Bhag'.
A video of Akshay who is very active on social media is being seen a lot. This is an old clip of Bollywood star Vicky Kaushal. In which Akshay is being asked in Punjabi which film he has not seen or done which he regrets.
To this Akshay said, “The one film I haven't seen yet, I regret not doing, is 'Bhaag Milka Bhaag'.”
He had said, “Let me tell you that I was offered that film, but I chose 'Once Upon a Time in Mumbai Dobara'. So Bhaag Milka Bhaag is the film which I regret not doing.” Later this role was played by directoractor Farhan Akhtar.
