Mumbai. Actor and artist Raj Anadkat, who was seen in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma, is now playing a role in the Gujarati television show 'United States of Gujarat'.
Expressing his happiness, he said that this show is perfect for him. He has got a chance to work in his native language in this show.
The actor has shared an interesting anecdote related to this show. He told that when he got a call from the makers of the show, he was busy tracking impressions on his Instagram reel. The actor said, “The timing was really extraordinary. The day I got the call about the show, I was discussing about making a reel with my sister and then suddenly I got a call about the show.”
The actor further added that he didn't have to prepare much to play the role in the show as the show is in Gujarati language and his personality is very similar to Keshav. He added, “I am very excited to play the role in my mother tongue. I am extremely thrilled and grateful for this opportunity to embark on this exciting new journey.”
'United States of Gujarat' is the story of a woman (played by Sana Amin Sheikh) who returns from America in an attempt to reunite with her mother Yamuna (played by Ami Trivedi) and her grandmother Suryakanta Baa (played by Ragini Shah).
