Share Market Opening 28th October, 2024: The Indian stock market today once again opened in the green with gains. Today, BSE Sensex opened with a gain of 251.38 points at 79,653.67 points, while on the other hand, Nifty 50 also opened with a gain of 70.30 points at 24,251.10 points. Let us tell you that the Indian stock market has been trading on the same pattern for the last several days. In the last several sessions, the domestic stock market has been closing in the red with huge losses after opening in the green.
Shares of 25 out of 30 Sensex companies opened in the green.
When the market opened on the first day of the week, shares of 25 out of 30 Sensex companies opened in the green with gains and shares of the remaining 5 companies opened in the red with losses. Similarly, in Nifty 50, out of 50 companies, shares of 30 companies opened in the green mark with a rise, shares of 14 companies were in the red mark with a loss and shares of the remaining 6 companies opened with no change.
ICICI Bank shares opened with biggest gain
For Sensex, ICICI Bank shares opened with the highest gain of 2.58 percent today. Asian Paints 1.37 percent, IndusInd Bank 1.01 percent, Infosys 0.96 percent, Adani Ports 0.87 percent, Hindustan Unilever 0.81 percent, TCS 0.57 percent, Reliance 0.57 percent, NTPC 0.54 percent, State Bank of India 0.53 percent, UltraTech Cement 0.52 percent, Tech Mahindra Shares opened with a gain of 0.50 percent.
JSW Steel shares fall the most
Apart from these, shares of Mahindra & Mahindra, Nestle India, Titan, Sun Pharma, Bajaj Finance, Axis Bank, Tata Motors, Tata Steel, PowerGrid, Maruti Suzuki, HCL Tech, ITC and Bajaj Finserv also opened in the green. On the other hand, today JSW Steel shares opened with maximum fall of 2.45 percent. Larsen & Toubro also opened with a loss of 0.20 per cent, HDFC Bank 0.09 per cent, Kotak Mahindra Bank 0.02 per cent and Bharti Airtel 0.02 per cent.
