public Sector's construction company NBCC (India) has received an order worth Rs 213 crore from Delhi University. The government company has received this order from Motilal Nehru College of Delhi University. The company said in a statement issued on Tuesday that NBCC and Motilal Nehru College have signed an MoU for the development of various infrastructure related works in the college campus.
The company will do this work including development of auditorium in the college.
The total cost of this order received from Motilal Nehru is Rs 213 crore. NBCC said in its statement, “The objective of this collaboration is to strengthen the infrastructure of Motilal Nehru College, which includes the development of a new auditorium, expansion of the academic building and construction of a modern hostel facility. All these development works in the college will be completed in different phases and its first phase is going to start soon.
The company's shares closed in the green with gains on Wednesday
After this order received by NBCC, action can be seen in the shares of the company on Wednesday. Let us tell you that on Tuesday, NBCC shares closed at Rs 99.13 with a rise of Rs 0.79 (0.80%). The company's shares, which closed at Rs 98.34 on Monday, opened with a slight rise on Tuesday at Rs 98.66. During trading yesterday, the company's shares traveled from an intraday low of Rs 98.00 to an intraday high of Rs 100.17.
Company's shares are far below 52 week high
According to BSE data, NBCC shares are still far below their 52 weeks. The 52 week high of NBCC shares is Rs 139.90. Whereas its 52 week low is only Rs 48.39. The current market cap of this government company is Rs 26,765.10 crore.
