central Home Minister Amit Shah said on Thursday that there has not been a single allegation of corruption against the Modi government in the last 10 years. Not only this, the weakness in taking policy decisions was not only eliminated but India was transformed into an attractive destination by taking it out of the five weak economies. Addressing the annual session of the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Amit Shah said that by the year 2047, due to the various policies of the Modi government, India will emerge as one of the most developed countries in the world.
Government made reforms in different sectors
The Home Minister said that ever since Prime Minister Narendra Modi took charge, the government has made reforms in different sectors. Compared to earlier, India's infrastructure has improved, connectivity has improved, digital economy and rail network have expanded and manufacturing units for semiconductors and electric vehicles have been established. Shah said, “Modi government has brought reforms and economic development in the country. During this period, there has not been a single allegation of corruption against our government. The opposition has also accepted this.
Terrorism and extremism buried 200 yards under the ground
The Home Minister said that in the last 10 years, the Modi government has buried terrorism, leftist extremism and North-Eastern extremism 200 yards under the ground. He said that when Modi took power, there was a situation of laxity regarding policy decisions and its implementation, which was ended with decisive measures in a very short time. Most 5 weak economies i.e. 'Fragile Five' is a concept. It was used by a financial expert from Morgan Stanley in August 2013. He used the term to describe emerging countries that had become overly dependent on risky foreign investment to meet their development aspirations. Indonesia, Brazil, Türkiye, India and South Africa were included in it. The Home Minister said that 10 years ago India was a country with double digit inflation rate but now it has become a country with tremendous growth.
Modi government is giving free food grains to 80 crore people
Referring to the various welfare schemes launched for the welfare of the poor in the last 10 years, Shah said that the Modi government is providing free food grains to 80 crore people across the country, 5 crore people have been given free housing, 12 crore toilets have been built, free electricity connections have been provided to 11 crore people and drinking water has been provided to 15 crore people. The Home Minister said that India was a market of 50 crore people. The remaining 80 crore people were busy earning their livelihood and did not have the purchasing power.
