Bank Holidays in December 2024: There is going to be a lot of holidays in the last month of the year i.e. December. Banks will remain closed for a total of 17 days in December. Apart from festivals and regional and national holidays, banks are going to remain closed for a total of 5 Sundays and 2 Saturdays in December. Bank holidays in India may vary from state to state. In such a situation, if you have to complete any important work from the bank, then definitely check the list of holidays. Actually, most of the banking work is done through mobile banking only.   • Due to the weekly holiday of Sunday on 1st December, all the banks of the country will remain closed.
  • Banks will remain closed in Goa on December 3 (Friday) on the occasion of the feast day of St. Francis Xavier.
  • All banks in the country will remain closed on 8th December due to Sunday.
  • Banks will remain closed in Meghalaya on 12th December (Tuesday) on the occasion of Pa-Togan Nengminja Sangma.
  • All banks in the country will remain closed on 14th December (Saturday) due to the second Saturday.
  • All the banks of the country will remain closed on 15th December due to Sunday.
  • Banks will remain closed in Meghalaya on December 18 (Wednesday) on the occasion of the death anniversary of U Soso Tham.
  • Banks will remain closed in Goa on 19th December (Thursday) on the occasion of Goa Liberation Day.
  • All the banks of the country will remain closed on 22nd December due to Sunday.
  • Banks will remain closed in Mizoram, Nagaland and Meghalaya on the occasion of Christmas Eve on December 24 (Thursday).
  • Banks will remain closed across India on 25th December (Wednesday) on the occasion of Christmas.
  • Banks will remain closed in Mizoram, Nagaland and Meghalaya on 26th December (Thursday) on the occasion of Christmas celebrations.
  • Banks will remain closed in Nagaland on 27th December (Friday) on account of Christmas celebrations.
  • All banks in the country will remain closed on 28th December (Saturday) due to the fourth Saturday.
  • All the banks of the country will remain closed on 29th December due to Sunday.
  • Banks will remain closed in Meghalaya on December 30 (Monday) on the occasion of U Kiang Nangbah.
  • Banks will remain closed in Mizoram and Sikkim on the occasion of New Year's Eve/Losong/Namsong on 31st December (Tuesday).
