Share Market Closing 25th November, 2024: A strong recovery was seen in the stock market on the first day of the week. The landslide victory of the BJP-led Mahayuti in the Maharashtra elections gave a new height to this recovery. On Monday, BSE Sensex closed at 80,109.85 points with a gain of 992.74 points, while NSE's Nifty 50 index also closed at 24,221.90 points with a gain of 314.65 points. In today's surge, shares of most of the companies listed in the market closed with gains. Let us tell you that on Friday last week also the market had closed with a huge gain. On Friday, BSE Sensex closed at 79,117.11 points with a gain of 1961.32 points and Nifty 50 also closed at 23,907.25 points with a gain of 557.35 points.
Strong rise in Larsen & Toubro shares
On Monday, shares of 24 out of 30 BSE companies closed in the green with gains and shares of the remaining 6 companies closed in the red with a decline. Similarly, in Nifty 50, shares of 43 out of 50 companies closed in the green with a rise, while shares of 7 companies closed in the red with a loss. For the Sensex today, Larsen & Toubro shares closed with the maximum gain of 4.14 percent and JSW Steel shares closed with the maximum fall of 2.31 percent.
Great growth was seen in these shares also
Shares of State Bank of India today 3.55 percent, Adani Ports 2.33 percent, Reliance Industries 1.99 percent, PowerGrid 1.93 percent, ICICI Bank 1.89 percent, HDFC Bank 1.88 percent, TCS 1.70 percent, Kotak Mahindra Bank 1.66 percent, Axis Bank 1.34 percent, Hindustan Unilever 1.27 percent, Mahindra & Shares of Mahindra closed with gains of 1.01 percent, NTPC 0.83 percent, UltraTech Cement 0.81 percent.
Shares of these companies closed in loss
Apart from these, shares of Tata Steel, Tata Motors, Nestle India, Bajaj Finserv, ITC, Bharti Airtel, IndusInd Bank, Sun Pharma, Titan and Bajaj Finance also closed higher. On the other hand, shares of Tech Mahindra closed down by 0.84 percent, Infosys by 0.40 percent, Maruti Suzuki by 0.32 percent, Asian Paints by 0.28 percent and HCL Tech by 0.12 percent.
