SpiceJet will add 10 aircraft to the fleet, the first aircraft will be inducted on this date, know the whole thing – Top News Bulletin


Domestic airline company SpiceJet will add 10 more aircraft to its fleet by next month. The first aircraft will be inducted on October 10. Giving information in a release, SpiceJet said that seven of these aircraft will be taken on lease, while three already discontinued aircraft are being re-inducted. According to live aircraft fleet tracking website PlaneSpotter, the Gurugram-headquartered airline has only 19 aircraft in operation, while 36 aircraft were on the ground as of October 8.

Decision after getting new capital of Rs 3,000 crore

According to PTI news, this announcement has been made after SpiceJet raised fresh capital of Rs 3,000 crore through QIP last month. The airline will receive an additional Rs 736 crore from the previous funding round, further strengthening its financial stability and growth momentum. SpiceJet said it has already signed agreements for the leased aircraft, and expects to fully induct all seven aircraft by November 15.

The company will also start grounded planes

While two leased aircraft have already arrived in India and are planned to be inducted immediately, the airline said it will also commission its grounded aircraft in phases, the first of which will enter service before the end of November 3. Will join again. SpiceJet Chairman and Managing Director Ajay Singh said the addition of these 10 aircraft is significant as we continue to meet the growing demand for air travel while strengthening our operational capabilities.

Pending salary and GST dues paid

Crisis-hit SpiceJet has paid all pending salaries and GST dues. He has also deposited 10 months' dues of Provident Fund (PF). Within the first week of the airline raising fresh funds, the company has made significant progress by paying all pending salaries and GST dues and depositing 10 months of PF dues. The process of payment of other dues is going on. SpiceJet is facing many challenges including financial problems and legal troubles. The number of aircraft in the company's fleet has also reduced.
