Sensex started trading with a gain of 195 points and Nifty by 59 points – Top News Bulletin


Share Market Opening 14th October, 2024: On Monday, the first day of the week, the Indian stock markets opened in the green. BSE Sensex opened with a gain of 195.57 points at 81,576.93 points and Nifty 50 also opened with a gain of 59.20 points at 25,023.45 points. Let us tell you that on Friday last week the stock markets closed in the red. On Friday, BSE Sensex closed 230.05 points down at 81,381.36 points and Nifty closed 34.20 points down at 24,964.25 points.

20 out of 30 Sensex companies started trading in the green.

At the start of trading today, shares of 20 out of 30 Sensex companies were trading in the green mark and shares of 10 companies were trading in the red mark. Similarly, out of 50 Nifty 50, shares of 39 companies were trading with gains and shares of 10 companies were trading with losses while shares of 1 company were trading with no change.

Shares of these companies opened with big gains

JSW Steel, among the Sensex companies, started trading today with the highest gain of 1.93 percent. Apart from this, Larsen & Toubro started trading with gains of 1.51 percent, Tata Steel by 1.43 percent, Infosys by 0.84 percent, Tech Mahindra by 0.82 percent, HDFC Bank by 0.78 percent, Reliance Industries by 0.61 percent. Along with these, shares of HCL Tech, Adani Ports, Kotak Mahindra Bank, State Bank of India, NTPC, Hindustan Unilever, ITC, CTS, IndusInd Bank, Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki, Asian Paints and ICICI Bank also opened in the green.

These shares started trading in red mark

On the other hand, today Mahindra & Mahindra shares opened with maximum decline of 0.51 percent. Shares of UltraTech Cement fell 0.28 percent, Bharti Airtel 0.23 percent, Sun Pharma 0.16 percent, PowerGrid 0.15 percent, Axis Bank 0.14 percent, Nestle India 0.14 percent, Bajaj Finance 0.10 percent, Bajaj Finserv 0.09 percent and Titan 0.08 percent.
