soil health card
Taking another initiative for the farmers, the Chief Minister started the distribution of 40 lakh soil health cards through WhatsApp. This step was taken to overcome the problems arising due to delay in printing the cards. Due to delay in card distribution, farmers were not able to implement the recommendations on time. Now, soil health cards will be sent directly to farmers' mobile numbers through WhatsApp as soon as the soil test results are 'uploaded' on the online portal, he said.
