Akasa Air Q2 Results: Akasa Air's loss increased to Rs 1,670.06 crore in the last financial year. However, the total income of the company has increased to Rs 3,144.38 crore during this period. According to data obtained by business intelligence platform Tofler, the airline, which has been operating for almost two years, had a net loss of Rs 744.53 crore in FY 2022-23. In the last financial year, the company had 24 aircraft in its fleet. During this period the company operated more than 110 flights daily.

“On standalone basis, the total income of the company stood at Rs 3,144.38 crore in the last financial year, which was Rs 777.84 crore in the financial year 2022-23,” Akasa Air's parent company SNV Aviation Pvt Ltd said in a filing to the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. The total expenditure of the company increased to Rs 4,814.44 crore in the financial year 2023-24, which was Rs 1,522.27 crore in the previous financial year.
Capacity increased 3 times
Akasa Air's capacity has increased 3 times in this financial year. This has increased the revenue per available seat kilometer by 10 percent. Airline CEO Ankur Goyal said that it takes a few years for any airline to become stable, only then it can recover from losses. He said that RASK will continue to grow annually as internal capabilities, brand presence and airport visibility increase.
