Giving information on this, Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL) said on Friday that flight operations will remain closed for 6 hours on Thursday, October 17 at Mumbai Airport for post-monsoon maintenance work on two cross runways.
Operation will be closed on October 17 from 11 am to 5 pm
MIAL said that this scheduled temporary closure is a part of the annual post-monsoon preventive maintenance program of Mumbai Airport and a notice (NOTAM) has also been issued to the airmen in this matter six months ago. “Cross runways – RWY 09/27 and RWY 14/32, as a part of the extensive post-monsoon runway maintenance program at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA), Mumbai, on October 17, 2024,” MIAL said in an official statement.
