Gold Rate Today on 6th December 2024 : There was no change in gold prices on Friday, the last trading day of the week. The price of gold remained stable at Rs 79,150 per 10 grams on Friday in the bullion market of the national capital Delhi. All India Bullion Association has given this information. The price of gold of 99.5 percent purity also remained stable at Rs 78,750 per 10 grams on Friday. Jatin Trivedi, Vice President (Research Analyst), Commodity and Currency, LKP Securities, said, “Gold on MCX registered marginal gains as the market awaits the key non-farm payrolls and unemployment data to be released in the US this evening. “These data are important for shaping the Federal Reserve's policy approach,” he said. In international markets, gold futures on Comex (commodity market) rose by 0.42 percent to $ 2,659.60 an ounce. Saumil Gandhi, Senior Analyst (Commodity), HDFC Securities, said, “Better than expected macroeconomic data in the US may force the Federal Reserve to stop interest rate cuts this month, which may have a negative impact on gold prices.” ''On the other hand, lower than expected economic data could push gold prices higher,'' he said.

There was a rise in gold futures prices on Friday. On Friday evening, on MCX exchange, gold for delivery on February 5, 2025 was seen trading at Rs 76,606 per 10 grams, up by 0.17 per cent or Rs 130. At the same time, the domestic futures price of silver was also seen trading with an increase. Silver for delivery on March 5, 2025 was seen trading at Rs 92,461 per kg with a rise of 0.04 per cent or Rs 37.
