11,72,240 railway employees will get 78 days bonus
According to the information given by the Railway Ministry, this year a total of 11,72,240 Railway employees will be given a bonus of 78 days. This is a Productivity Linked Bonus (PLB), which will be given to employees on the basis of productivity. The Railway Ministry will distribute a total bonus of Rs 2029 crore among its 11.72 lakh employees of different classes.
When will the bonus money come into the accounts of railway employees?
The Railway Ministry usually pays bonus to its employees before Diwali. Railway employees are given bonus even before the holiday of Durga Puja or Dussehra. Like every time, this time too the Railway Ministry will pay bonus to its employees before the Durga Puja/Dussehra holiday.
How much bonus will the employees get?
According to the Railway Ministry, a maximum of Rs 17,951 will be paid as bonus to the employees. This means that railway employees will get a maximum of Rs 17,951 as bonus. All railway employees, irrespective of the post, are given the same bonus.
