CNG Price Hike : Gujarat Gas has announced an increase in the prices of CNG. The company has increased the prices of CNG by Rs 1.5 from today i.e. December 1. Due to this, the price of CNG in Gujarat has now increased to Rs 77.76 per kg. Gujarat Gas has given this information by sending a letter to its franchise owners. Earlier in July, CNG prices had increased by Re 1. In August also the price was increased by Re 1 again. These new prices of CNG have come into effect from Saturday midnight.
A large number of people will be affected
This increase in prices will affect more than 4 lakh CNG vehicle users of South Gujarat. Let us tell you that there are 60 CNG pumps in Surat and 250 CNG pumps in South Gujarat. CNG is mostly used in auto rickshaws and school vans. Due to this, school van operators may have to increase their charges.
Commercial LPG cylinder becomes costlier
On the other hand, on the first day of the month, government oil companies have increased the prices of commercial LPG cylinders. However, there has been no change in the price of domestic LPG cylinder. The price of 19 kg LPG cylinder has increased by ₹ 16.50. 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder will now be available in Delhi for ₹ 1818.50. Apart from Delhi, the price of commercial gas cylinder in Kolkata has now become Rs 1927.00. This gas cylinder is available for ₹ 1771.00 in Mumbai and ₹ 1980.50 in Chennai.
