Austrian two wheeler brand Brixton has made a tremendous entry in the Indian market in the big bike segment. The company has launched four new bikes in India with Crossfire 500, Crossfire 500 X, Cromwell 1200 and Cromwell 1200X. These Brixton bikes will compete directly with brands like Royal Enfield and KTM in India. At present the company will assemble the bike in India. However, there is talk of manufacturing in India itself. The company sees a lot of potential in the huge market of India.
Crossfire 500X
The starting price of this model is ₹ 4,74,100. The bike is powered by a 486cc, inline twin-cylinder engine, which generates 46.36bhp @ 8000rpm of maximum power and 43Nm @ 6750rpm of peak torque. The bike has J-Juan disc brakes with dual-channel ABS from Bosch. It has 17-inch front and rear tubeless spoke rims. There is adjustable KYB suspension at both ends. In this you get all LED lighting.
Crossfire 500XC
The price of this model is Rs 5.19 lakh (ex-showroom). It has a 486cc, inline twin-cylinder engine. It generates 46.9bhp @ 8000rpm of maximum power, while producing 43Nm @ 6750rpm of peak torque. The bike has J-Juan brakes with Bosch dual-channel ABS. KYB suspension at both ends; Fully adjustable USD forks and monoshock with preload and rebound adjustability. You get 19-inch front and 17-inch rear tubeless spoke wheels.
Cromwell 1200
The starting ex-showroom price of this bike is Rs 7.84 lakh. The bike has a big engine of 1222 cc. Its engine produces 82 bhp power at 6550 rpm and generates peak torque of 108 Nm at 3100 rpm. The engine is equipped with a 6-speed gearbox. The Cromwell 1200 model has a telescopic front fork setup at the front and a twin shock rear setup at the rear. The motorcycle has 18 inch front wheel and 17 inch rear wheel.
