The company said that as of October 30, Ather has retailed 20,000 scooters across India. This increase comes after Ather's September retail performance. The company sold 12,828 electric scooters in September, as a result of which its nationwide market share increased from 7.9 percent in July to 14.3 percent in September.
Company is going to bring IPO of Rs 4500 crore
There is a continuous increase in the demand for electric vehicles in India and in October this sector has recorded an annual growth of 70 percent. Let us tell you that only last month, Ather Energy had applied to SEBI for an initial public offering (IPO) of Rs 4500 crore. Ather Energy's biggest rival company Ola Electric has also recently been listed in the stock market.
The company is planning to set up a manufacturing plant in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar district.
The company currently has 231 experience centers and 2500 fast charging stations across the country. Ather has a manufacturing facility in Hosur, Tamil Nadu. Apart from this, Ather Energy is also planning to set up another manufacturing plant in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar district of Maharashtra.
