Another new record today, Sensex reached a record level of 85,930 and Nifty 26,250 points – Top News Bulletin


Share Market Closing 26th Sep, 2024: These days a new record is being made every day in the Indian stock market. On Thursday also the stock market made a new record. The BSE Sensex reached close to 86,000 and Nifty 26,300 points. On the fourth day of the week, the BSE Sensex reached a new lifetime high of 85,930.43 points and Nifty 50 reached a new lifetime high of 26,250.90 points. However, in the end, the BSE Sensex closed at a new record level of 85,836.12 points with a gain of 666.25 points and the Nifty 50 closed at a new record level of 26,216.05 points with a gain of 211.90 points.

Shares of 26 out of 30 Sensex companies rose

Let us tell you that the Sensex had crossed the 85,000 mark just two days ago, i.e. on September 24, and today it came very close to the historic figure of 86,000. Like the Sensex, the Nifty 50 also crossed the 26,000 mark on September 24 and today it too reached close to 26,300. Today, out of 30 Sensex companies, 26 stocks rose and 4 stocks fell. Similarly, out of 50 Nifty 50 companies, 41 stocks closed in the green and 9 in the red.

These Sensex companies' shares registered growth

Among the Sensex companies, Maruti Suzuki shares registered the highest rise of 4.55 percent today. Apart from this, Tata Motors shares rose by 2.85 percent, Bajaj Finserv shares by 2.58 percent, Mahindra & Mahindra shares by 2.53 percent, Tata Steel shares by 2.29 percent, JSW Steel shares by 2.11 percent, UltraTech Cement shares by 2.00 percent. While shares of Bajaj Finance, Sun Pharma, Nestle India, Hindustan Unilever, Adani Ports, Asian Paints, State Bank of India, IndusInd Bank also saw a rise of more than 1 percent.

Larsen & Toubro's stock fell the most

For the Sensex, Larsen & Toubro's stock fell the most by 0.94 percent. Apart from this, NTPC's stock closed with a decline of 0.66 percent, Infosys' stock closed with a decline of 0.21 percent and HDFC Bank's stock closed with a decline of 0.01 percent.
