Adani Defense delivers second 'Drishti-10' drone to Indian Navy, know its features – Top News Bulletin

Adani Defense and Aerospace, the defense company of the Gautam Adani-led group, delivered the second unit of Drishti-10 drone to the Indian Navy on Wednesday. This is a Starliner surveillance drone. The acquisition of this drone has increased the ability of the Indian Navy to monitor shipping lines and reduce the risk of piracy. According to PTI news, earlier this year the company had delivered the first Drishti-10 drone.

Capacity is 450 kg payload

According to the news, this drone has been developed on an advanced intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance platform at the Hyderabad facility of Adani Defense and Aerospace. It has a capacity of 450 kg payload, while it has an endurance capacity of 36 hours. Drishti 10 is a force multiplier that gives the Indian Navy the ability to monitor vast maritime areas and remain alert in unique situations.

Ability to fly at altitudes of 10,000 to 30,000 feet

The Vision 10 drone is a type of unmanned aerial vehicle that can fly at an altitude of 10,000 to 30,000 feet. Its flying capacity can be from 24 to 48 hours. Adani Defense had earlier also supplied Drishti-10 Starliner to the Indian Army. The first Drishti-10 Starliner was delivered to the Indian Navy in January this year. The Indian Army, which has ordered two such drones, will deploy the first drone at its Bathinda base in Punjab, from where it can keep an eye on the entire western border with Pakistan. Drishti 10 has achieved significant milestones through its flight operations by the Indian Navy and Indian Army at Porbandar and Bathinda.

The Vision 10 Starliner symbolizes more than one achievement – it reflects a larger vision for India's defense future. In less than three years, Adani Defense has achieved what traditionally takes five to six years in the industry, providing unmanned aerial vehicle capabilities to both the Indian Army and Navy.
