Jio has increased the price of its plan by Rs 100. According to the report, this new plan will be implemented from January 23. The country's largest telecom company had also revised its mobile tariff in July last year. The company had decided to make all its mobile recharge plans expensive. Apart from this, many plans were also stopped. Jio has now decided to make its cheapest postpaid plan of Rs 199 more expensive.
Plan became costlier by Rs 100
According to BT's report, from January 23, users will be charged Rs 299 instead of Rs 199 for this plan. Talking about the benefits available in this monthly plan, in this plan of Jio, users get the benefit of unlimited calling as well as 25GB high speed data to call any number across India. Additionally, users get the benefit of 100 free SMS daily and free national roaming. Since the plan becomes expensive, users will have to spend Rs 100 extra for all these benefits.
Rs 349 plan
At the same time, the cheapest plan for new postpaid users of Jio comes at Rs 349. Talking about the benefits available in this plan, users get the benefit of free calling all over India. Additionally, users are offered 30GB of high-speed data as well as unlimited 5G. Not only this, this plan of Jio comes with the benefits of daily 100 free SMS and national roaming.
Talking about Jio's cheapest family plan, users will have to spend Rs 449 every month for it. In this plan, users get the benefit of 75GB high speed data along with unlimited calling and 5G data. Users can add three more numbers along with the primary number. However, for each number, users will have to pay a separate cost of Rs 150 every month. Additionally, 5GB complimentary data is offered every month for all secondary numbers.
