Hyderabad. Actor Akshay Kumar is ready to debut in Telugu films with 'Kannaappa'. Akshay's first look is out. In which he can be seen holding a trident and damru in his hands.
The actor, who is active on social media, shared his first look poster from 'Kannaappa' on Instagram with the caption, “Honored to step into the sacred aura of Mahadev for 'Kannaappa' and bring this epic tale to life. Lord.” May Shiva guide us in this divine journey. Om Namah Shivay!”
The actor was seen in the character of Lord Shiva in the poster, on which it is written, “The Supreme Lord, who rules over the three worlds, surrenders himself to pure devotion.”
In the picture, Akshay is seen in the avatar of Jatadhari Bholenath. Apart from a trident in one hand and a damru in the other hand, he is wearing deer bark.
Recently, the first look of actress Kajal Aggarwal from 'Kannaappa' was revealed, in which she was seen in the role of Mata Parvati. Sharing the poster on Instagram, Kajal had written, “Really a dream role! Happy to start 2025 Kannappa, Har Har Mahadev. Mata Parvati.”
In the poster, the actress was seen as Goddess Parvati wearing a white saree with golden border.
'Kannaappa' is directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and produced by Mohan Babu under his banner AVA Entertainment in association with 24 Frames Factory. Vishnu Manchu will be seen in the lead role along with Akshay Kumar, Kajal Aggarwal in the film, while Mohan Babu, R. Sarathkumar, Arpit Ranka, Kaushal Manda, Rahul Madhav, Devraj, Mukesh Rishi, Brahmanandam, Raghu Babu, Preeti Mukhundhan, Madhu, Mohanlal, Prabhas will be seen in important roles.
'Kannaappa' is Akshay Kumar's first Telugu film. Stephen Devasi composed the songs and background score of the film. 'Kannaappa' has been shot in many parts of the country as well as in New Zealand. The film will be released in theaters on April 25 this year.
