After getting embroiled in many controversies and removing some scenes, the Censor Board cleared the way for 'Emergency'. But despite this, the problems of the film are not stopping. Now only two days are left for the film to be released and it has been banned in Bangladesh.
According to reports, this decision has been taken due to the ongoing tense situation between India and Bangladesh. It had to face this problem due to the political dynamics in this film.
The second reason is that it shows the assassination of Bangladesh's first President and freedom fighter Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. In fact, in Bangladesh he is also called Father of Bangladesh and he played a major role in the partition of Pakistan and Bangladesh. Apart from this, Indira Gandhi also contributed to this partition, the result of which was the IndiaPakistan war in 1971.
'Emergency' was scheduled to release on June 14, 2024 but could not be released due to the Lok Sabha elections. After which it was postponed to 6th September but then the Censor Board refused to give the certificate. After which Kangana also went to the High Court, finally after some changes in the film from the Censor Board, Kangana announced that the film has been given certificate. After which Kangana announced to release emergency on January 17.
Kangana Ranaut is going to play the role of former Prime Minister of India Indira Gandhi in 'Emergency'. He has also directed this film. The film will be released in theaters on January 17. Apart from him, stars like Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, late star Satish Kaushik are in lead roles in the film.
