Pooja Sharma had come to Mumbai to appear for the second group of CA final exam, but her destiny took her to the entertainment industry. But, the day he decided to follow this path, his father stopped talking to him or picking up his calls. Revealing about this, Pooja said, “When I came to Mumbai, my father did not talk to me or pick up my phone for a long time. I can understand that being a father he was worried, he only He knew the things that were shown on television and he felt that the industry was very bad and he was not sure how I would be able to survive in it, so he was even more worried. Complete your CA first, don't leave it half done in my mind. The thought was always that if I come here then I have to prove myself and make them feel proud.”
Pooja, who hails from a small town in Cuttack, Odisha, to Mumbai, has done several ad films, popular television shows like Choti Sarrdaarni, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and web series like Johri and Dus June Ki Raat. Recently the trailer of his debut film 'Mission Gray House' was launched and the film is all set to hit the big screens on 17 January 2025.
During the event, Pooja had a video call with her family members so that they could be a part of her special day, “After seeing myself in the trailer of the film, I felt really good and it is really a special feeling which I cannot express in words. Can't explain. Everyone was happy to see this, especially my father who said “This is your year, 2025 is going to be your year. He is so excited that he is sharing all my teaser and trailer videos in all his social media groups, friends, family, neighbors and even in our Marwari community group,
” Pooja said while talking about her family's reaction after watching the film's trailer. “Actually they are promoting my film more than me (Pooja laughs).
