2. India has become the fastest country in the world to roll out 5G. 5G coverage has reached 99 percent of the districts in the country. Telecom companies have completed the installation of 4.62 lakh 5G BTS towers this year.
3. The government has approved the 4G Saturation Project to provide 4G connectivity to all the villages of the country.
4. Submarine cable was laid through the sea between Kochi and Lakshadweep so that 5G and fiber broadband services could be provided.
