Listen, listen, this Team Fortress 2 comic is a Christmas miracle

Before supervision and Marvel RivalsThere was another quirky character-based hero shooter that players loved: Valve's Team Fortress 2. Team Fortress 2 remains a relevant game and has retained a fan base since its release in 2007. In fact, the surprise release of a Team Fortress 2 The comic, seven years after the last issue, surprised and delighted fans online.

Number 7 of the current Team strength The comic is called “The Days Have Worn Away” and begins with a tribute to Rick May, the Soldier's voice actor, who tragically passed away in 2020. The art is done by Heather Campbell, a Valve artist who does excellent work . humanize the ridiculous figures that make up the TF2 cast. There's a Scout with a bustling family, a newly married Soldier who refers to his wife as a roommate, and a terrifying body horror scene with the Administrator. There really is something for everyone here.

If you haven't read the comics, I suggest you start from the beginning. The series began in 2013, with “Ring of Fired,” and delves into the backstory of the main cast and supporting characters like Miss Pauling. As Valve puts it on the TeamFortress.com comics page, “Over the years, comics have spawned supporting characters and then assistants to supporting characters.
