Mumbai . The celebration of the 100th birth anniversary of the 'Great Showman' of Indian cinema Raj Kapoor will be grand. The Kapoor family is busy preparing for the festival with full pomp and show. The family has also invited the country's Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The entire family has expressed happiness on their social media platforms. Along with a series of pictures, Kareena Kapoor also shared a clip in which PM Modi is giving autographs to her children Tim and Jeh.
Kareena Kapoor shared a picture of the Kapoor family arriving to meet the PM on her official Instagram and wrote in the caption, “We are proud to invite Prime Minister Narendra Modi to celebrate the extraordinary life and legacy of our grandfather and great actor Raj Kapoor. But feeling honored. Thanks to Modi ji for this special afternoon.”

In the picture shared with PM Modi, Kareena was seen along with Karisma Kapoor, Neetu Singh, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Riddhima Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan and other members. In another picture, Kareena Kapoor and Karisma Kapoor were seen taking autographs from the PM.
In other pictures, PM Modi was seen talking to Saif Ali, Ranbir, Neetu, Alia and Kareena.
Veteran actresses Neetu Kapoor and Karisma Kapoor also posted pictures with PM Modi.
On the occasion of Raj Kapoor's 100th birth anniversary, his successful and brilliant films will be shown. These films include 'Aag' (1948), 'Barsaat' (1949), 'Awara' (1951), 'Shree 420' (1955), 'Jaagte Raho' (1956), 'Jis Desh Mein Ganga Bahati Hai' (1960) ), 'Sangam' (1964), 'Mera Naam Joker' (1970), 'Bobby' (1973) 'Ram Teri Ganga Maili' (1985).
These films will be shown in 40 cities and 135 theaters in India from December 13 to December 15. Movie tickets in theaters will cost Rs 100.
