Rajat Sharma's Blog | Bundle of notes in Parliament: Investigate, but do not take names – Top News Bulletin

A bundle of five hundred rupee notes became a big political issue. There was an uproar in the Rajya Sabha over the bundle of notes. There was a heated argument between Congress leaders and BJP leaders. And finally the proceedings of the House were adjourned for the day. Now it is being investigated whether the Rs 500 notes found in the house are real or fake, if real, then whose wad of notes is this, if these notes are accidentally left in the house, then why can't anyone claim them? Came. Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar has now set up an inquiry to find answers to all these questions, but when he informed the House about this, Congress members started an uproar.

Congress felt bad about the Chairman's words. What happened was that Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar said that a bundle of Rs 500 notes was found on seat number 222 and this seat is allotted in the name of Abhishek Manu Singhvi of Congress. Opposition leader Mallikarjun Kharge objected to this statement. Said that if the Chairman has ordered an investigation then what is the need to take the name of any member before the investigation is completed. Why did you take the name of Abhishek Manu Singhvi? Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said that the Chairman has only talked about the seat on which the bundle of notes was found, what is wrong in it, why so much hue and cry is being created over it.

House leader JP Nadda said that finding a bundle of notes in the House is a very serious matter. This cannot be taken lightly, hence it must be investigated, but the way the opposition is creating ruckus in the House, it raises doubts. Union Minister Piyush Goyal caught hold of Congress's argument. Goyal said that if Congress is ready then a rule should be made that if investigation is going on in any case then no one's name can be taken in that case. Piyush Goyal said that Congress leaders create ruckus in the House every day by raising news published in foreign newspapers, is that all right?

Goyal said that investigation is also going on in Adani's case, yet Congress chants Adani's name day and night. If it is wrong to take Singhvi's name before the investigation, then how can it be right to take Adani's name before the investigation is completed. Congress's question is legitimate, unless investigation is done, how can anyone's name be taken. Abhishek Manu Singhvi is saying that the bundle of notes is not his, then why was his name taken. Why was it not waited for the investigation to be completed?
