Udaipur. The team of Govardhan Vilas police station of Udaipur district exposed the gang involved in robbery with finance personnel and arrested two vicious accused Rakesh Kumar son of Shivram resident of Ner Phala Akharbar police station Parsad district 125 and Ajit Kumar son of Kantilal resident of Balicha Phala Rajnagar, Patiya. , Udaipur and seized a power bike Apache NS 200. With the arrest of the accused, eight incidents of robbery with finance personnel have come to light.

SP Yogesh, on November 28, gave a report from finance worker Afzal Mohammad, resident of Surpuri police station, Kapasan, that yesterday he was returning back to Udaipur from Barapal with an amount of about Rs 78,000 as loan installments of his company. On the way, near Kaya Jain temple on the highway, three unknown miscreants came on a white power bike, beat him up, looted a bag full of money and ran away. After registering the case on the report, investigation was started.

In view of the seriousness of the incident, SP Goyal disclosed the incidents of robbery and arrested the accused under the supervision of ASP Gopal Swaroop Mewada and CO Suryaveer Singh Rathod and with the technical support of the team formed under the leadership of SHO Bhavani Singh Rajawat. Identified some suspicious youths from Bichhiwada of Dungarpur and Parsad police station of Salumber district. When the suspects Rakesh Kumar and Ajit Kumar were detained and interrogated, both of them, along with other members of their gang, admitted to committing a total of 08 incidents of robbery with finance employees.

These incidents were revealed

◆ On February 16, an employee of RBL Finance Company was robbed of Rs 72 thousand on the National Highway in Kaya.
◆ On March 16, an employee of RBL Finance Company was robbed of Rs 98 thousand on the National Highway in Kaya.
◆ On May 23, an employee of Bharat Finance Limited Company was robbed of Rs 88 thousand on Undawela National Highway near Hotel Charan Kamal.
◆ On July 26, an employee of Bharat Finance Limited Company was robbed of Rs 79 thousand on Undawela National Highway near Hotel Charan Kamal.
◆ On October 4, an employee of India Credit Company was robbed of Rs 1.90 lakh on Undawela National Highway near Hotel Charan Kamal.
◆ On November 22, an employee of Equitas Small Finance Company was robbed of Rs 1.08 lakh on the National Highway in Barapal.
◆ On November 27, an employee of Credit Access Rural Limited Finance Company was robbed of Rs 78 thousand on the National Highway near Kaya Jain Temple.
◆ On October 1, 5 employees of MFG India Credit Finance Company were robbed of Rs 1.50 lakh on Bori Kuan Pass National Highway.

All the accused, being of criminal nature, used to do racket of the employees of the finance company operating in the rural areas of Udaipur and Salumber district as a gang. A member of the gang used to monitor the employees of the finance company. As soon as the employee collected the installment from the rural area, He collects the money and leaves. At the same time, this gang member used to inform his friends standing on the highway.

Other gang members standing on the highway hide their identities by wearing masks over their faces. Power bikes were used in most of the incidents. As soon as the finance employee would come to the highway from the rural area, he would see a deserted place on the highway, beat him up, snatch the bag full of money and run away on his power bike towards the rural area and unpaved roads. Where they used to divide the looted amount.

There is a possibility of more incidents being revealed during the interrogation of the accused. Police are interrogating the accused and searching for other gang associates.
