Mumbai . A case of rape of a 13 year old girl has come to light in Powai area of Mumbai. On the basis of the statement of the victim girl, the police registered a case against the accused grandfather and started further investigation.
Powai police said that the accused is the uncle of the victim girl's father. The accused had been raping the victim for the last one month after her mother went to work. After misbehaving with the victim, the accused threatened to kill her parents if she told anyone about this. Because of this the victim girl was scared and that is why she did not tell this to anyone.
The victim girl complained of stomach pain, after which she was taken to the nearest doctor. Then it was discovered that something was wrong with it. When the family asked the girl, the girl told her family about this. After this, his family members went to the nearest police station and lodged a complaint regarding this matter.
Powai police registered a case against the accused under rape and POCSO Act. The accused is originally from Bihar. Presently he lives in Powai area. The police have been involved in the investigation of the case.
Earlier, a case of rape of a threeyearold girl had come to light in Antop Hill area of Mumbai. The accused had committed the rape by taking the girl to a deserted place. The girl was admitted to the hospital for treatment in critical condition.
According to the information, Antop Hill Police of Mumbai had taken the accused into custody. According to information received from the police, the accused took the girl to a secluded place and raped her.
