Medallions are boss items that boost you in different ways. The medallions in fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 are:
- Wanderer Medalliondropped by Shogun Xgrants infinite resistance and invisibility while running
- Night Rose Medalliondropped by night rosemakes your weapons recharge themselves
Medallions do not take up inventory space, as they have their own respective space in your bag (like gold).
To get the medallion, you will need eliminate the NPC boss holding him. As you approach them, a large health bar will appear at the top of the screen for the respective boss.
Unlike other NPCs that are fairly easy to place and eliminate right away, these NPCs all have lackeys that respawn and will shoot you once they see you. That said, it may be easier to loot the named locations and then go find a medallion.
Luckily, NPCs shoot like Storm Troopers from Star Wars (which means they aim very poorly), so you shouldn't worry. too much about the lackeys. Focus on the boss with a decent weapon and you should be able to get a medallion. Note that the boss will recharge his shield frequently, making him an annoying target.
If you see an orange or gold circle on the map, it means that a player in that area also has a medallion. You can eliminate that player to take his medallion.
