The purpose of National Radio Quiet Zone was to make radio frequencies free. No facilities like WiFi, Internet, mobile, microwave are provided here. Because all these are devices that generate electromagnetic waves. That's why all these have been banned here.

Research facilities for scientists are available in this city. The Green Bank Telescope (GBT) located here detects even the weakest radio waves coming from space.
