Due to this documentary, controversy has arisen between both the stars. The matter has reached such a stage that the actor has also issued a legal notice to the actress demanding Rs 10 crore.
Actress Nayanthara, in a letter written on social media, has revealed that a demand of Rs 10 crore has been made by the actor for alleged copyright infringement. Because the documentary includes BTS footage from their production “Naanum Rowdy Dhaan”.
Nayanthara had written this letter on November 16, after a legal notice was sent to her by the actor.
In this letter, the actress vented her anger against actor Dhanush. Nayanthara has written that you are an established actor in the industry. You have got the support of your father, brother. We all know that cinema is a fight for survival for people like me. Because I do not have any godfather in this industry. I have struggled to reach the position I am in today. I would give credit for this to my work ethic.
Let us tell you that after this open letter of Nayanthara, a statement was also issued by Dhanush's lawyers. The statement said that legal action will be taken against Nayanthara. The statement said that if Nayanthara does not pay the compensation of Rs 10 crore within 24 hours, legal action will be taken.
