Bhimganjmandi police station of Kota city has arrested the most wanted Lalit Kishore Chaturvedi, son of Shyam Sundar (65), resident of Indira Vihar Talwandi, Jawahar Nagar Kota city, who had been absconding for a year after defrauding the general public of crores of rupees and carrying a reward of ₹ 5000. Success has been achieved in arresting him from the flat.
SP Dr. Amrita Duhan said that five cases of fraud were registered against the arrested accused Lalit Kishore Chaturvedi in Bhimganjmandi police station between 25 February 2023 and 3 April 2024. They had a firm named Ms Aakriti Landcon Company, of which the accused was the director. The accused and his other associates had committed a fraud of crores of rupees by getting the flats of the multistorey building located at Khedli Phatak registered and then selling them to other persons.
SP Dr Duhan said that the police had already arrested two directors of the company in this case. Accused Lalit Kishore had fled from Kota after the case was registered, leaving his house in Kota and was living a luxurious life by changing places in Bengaluru and Delhi for the last one year.
Dr. Duhan said that a special campaign is being run in the district to arrest the wanted criminals. Accused Lalit Kishore, who was absconding for a year, was declared most wanted and a reward of ₹ 5000 was announced. For his arrest, a special team was formed under the leadership of ASP Dilip Kumar Saini, CO Gangasahay Sharma and SHO Bhimganjmandi Ramkishan Godara.
In this case, intelligence was collected by SHO Ramkishan Godara by activating informers. After technical investigation, the team of ASI Jagdish Prasad of Police Station Railway Colony and Cyber Cell Head Constable Suresh, Shyamveer and AGTF Head Constable Ranjeet raided the flat and arrested the accused.
