Japan Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India, the Indian subsidiary of automobile company Honda, is soon going to introduce its first electric vehicle in India. Honda's first electric scooter will be launched on November 27. The name of this scooter has not been officially announced. However, industry experts believe that this could be an electric version of Honda's popular scooter Activa. Before launching its first electric scooter in India, the company is promoting it through a great teaser.
How many kilometers will Honda scooter run once fully charged?
Many important information including the design and features of the scooter have been revealed through the teaser shown by the company. Its range is known from the teaser of the scooter itself. This electric scooter of Honda will have 2 ride modes – standard and sport. In standard mode, this scooter will give a range of 104 km on a single charge. That means once fully charged, this scooter will run 104 km in standard mode. However, in sport mode, the scooter will consume more power, due to which its range may be significantly reduced.
What could be the price of electric scooter?
The meter of the scooter will be completely digital like other electric scooters, which will be able to connect with the riders' smartphones. In the previous teaser presented by the company, a glimpse of the headlamp and seat of this electric scooter was shown and it is believed that after the launch, it is going to give a tough competition to its rival companies. Currently, Ola Electric, Ather, TVS, Hero and Bajaj have a major share in India's electric two-wheeler market. According to market estimates, the price of this scooter can range from Rs 1.00 to 1.20 lakh.
