Bhubaneswar: Can you imagine that a mother could be so cruel that she, along with her lover, would be cruel to her own children? A similar case has come to light from Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Here, a mother burned her children with hot tongs for protesting against illicit relations. This mother along with her lover carried out this cruel incident.
What is the whole matter?
A shocking incident came to light from Mahavir area under Maitri Vihar police station of Bhubaneswar. The woman's boyfriend tortured two children with hot tongs for three days and scarred them on many parts of their bodies. This brutality was committed by the children's mother Sumitra Mahapatra and her lover Guddu Nayak.
According to the information, Sumitra's 11 year old son and 15 year old daughter had opposed her illicit relationship, due to which Sumitra's lover Guddu gave them this punishment. The mother and her lover Guddu Nayak together kept the innocent children locked in a closed room and tortured them.
The father of the children, Prasanna Mahapatra, was living outside the city for 7 months, taking advantage of which the accused lover Guddu Nayak used to come to the woman's house. When the children protested against this act, the Kaliyugi mother and her lover, blinded by love, started abusing the children.
What did the police tell?
A police officer of Maitri Vihar police station said, 'On Monday, the children had an argument with Sumitra and Guddu, due to which Guddu kept them locked in the room for 3 days and tortured them. Sumitra and Guddu together had scorched the hand of a 15 year old girl with hot tongs and had scorched the leg of an 11 year old boy with hot tongs. After registering the complaint, we have arrested Sumitra and Guddu and are investigating further.
According to the information, Guddu and Sumitra were in an illicit relationship for the last seven months. Guddu is the driver of the owner of the flat where Sumitra works as a maid.
