Geyser Using Tips: With the onset of winter, appliances like geysers and room heaters are required. If the geyser does not work properly then there is a risk of electric short circuit. Not only this, the electricity bill also becomes very high. If you are also using electric geyser in winter, then you should keep some things in mind. Also, its servicing is very important before using it.
The use of geysers usually stops with the beginning of summer, due to which the geysers installed in the bathroom remain closed for a long time. Due to not being used for a long time, the components inside the geyser may get damaged. Especially the maintenance of the elements used in the geyser is very important. This element installed in the electric geyser helps in heating the water. Due to geyser being closed for a long time, it gets rusted and consumes more electricity.
Not only this, due to any kind of problem in the element, the water in the geyser does not heat up quickly. In such a situation, you should get the geyser serviced before using it. Whichever brand of electric geyser you use, you should get maintenance done from the official service center of that brand. After servicing, along with the element, the geyser tank also gets cleaned.
Keep these things in mind while using geyser
- Use soft water in geyser. There is a risk of the geyser getting damaged quickly by using hard water.
- Keep in mind that when there is no water in the geyser, do not switch it on. Doing this may cause the geyser to burst.
- Use geysers with auto cut. By doing this, electricity bill will be saved and after the water gets heated, the switch of the geyser will automatically turn off.
- Check the geyser valve regularly. Water leakage may cause short circuit and risk of electric shock.
- Heat the water in the geyser only at the optimal temperature. There may be problems in the pipeline due to the water being too hot.
