Jharkhand High Court has issued a notice to former Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni on Tuesday. The High Court has sent a notice to Dhoni in a case filed by his former partners Mihir Diwakar and Soumya Das. The court has ordered Dhoni to come to the court and clarify his stand in this case. What is the whole matter?
According to the information, Mihir Diwakar and Soumya Das are the directors of 'Arka Sports and Management Limited'. Both of them had signed an agreement with Mahendra Singh Dhoni to open a cricket academy in his name. However, after some time MS Dhoni accused Mihir Diwakar and Soumya Das of cheating. Dhoni had filed a criminal complaint against him in Jharkhand's capital Ranchi on January 5.
Fraud of Rs 15 crore- Dhoni
In the criminal complaint, Mahendra Singh Dhoni has alleged that he was defrauded of Rs 15 crore. Dhoni has claimed that in the year 2021, he had canceled the agreement rights for the academy. However, even after this his name continued to be used by Mihir Diwakar and Soumya Das. Subsequently, cognizance was taken against Diwakar and Das by the court of a judicial magistrate in Ranchi. However, both of them approached the Jharkhand High Court in this matter. Now the High Court has ordered Dhoni to appear in the court in this case.
