With Click Frenzy and Black Friday on the horizon, it's safe to expect deals here, there and everywhere on a wide range of consumer technology. Today, one of the best discounts we've spotted is on Dyson's high-tech Supersonic Nural hairdryer, which received a price drop of AU$170 direct from the manufacturer.
Dyson, a company widely known for making some of the best vacuum cleaners and fans on the market, is also a major player in the hair dryer space. The Supersonic Nural in particular is our favorite premium hair dryer on our list of the best hair dryers, and this year the device received TechRadar's Home Tech of the Year award. It really surprised us and although it is quite expensive, the Supersonic Nural is a very powerful styling tool that is ideal for quick drying without heat damage.
In our review of the Dyson Supersonic Nural hair dryer, we praised the device for how quickly and effectively it was able to dry hair, with an innovative scalp protection mode and lightweight design. When you put the hair dryer down, the device goes into a low-power mode, which produces less noise, saves energy and reduces the risk of heat damage. We also loved the five attachments designed specifically for different hair types, and each one magnetically snaps onto the applicator to make the whole package really easy to use.
Although the hair dryer received the TechRadar Recommends seal of approval, we noticed that it has a fairly short handle and its capabilities as a hair dryer may be a bit overkill for many users. Obviously, we weren't too excited about the high price either, but this deal nicely alleviates those criticisms.
Just keep in mind that we may see an even cheaper deal during the gigantic Black Friday sales event at the end of the month. While this appears to be the cheapest listing online in Australia for the Dyson Supersonic Nural hair dryer at the time of writing, it's unclear how long this deal will last or if another retailer will jump in with a lower price.
