Islamabad: Taliban has again issued a strange order for Afghan women. Now Afghan women will not be able to talk loudly, they will not even be able to offer namaz loudly. Women have been banned from offering Namaz in a loud voice. An Afghan minister has said that Afghan women have been prohibited from offering namaz or reading the Quran loudly in front of other women.
The minister said that these are new restrictions imposed on women under morality laws. All women will have to follow this. Under these laws, women are prohibited from talking loudly and showing their faces outside the house. Apart from this, girls are deprived of education after the sixth class and women are already excluded from many public places and most jobs. No official from the country's religious ministry confirmed on Wednesday whether the restrictions would become part of morality laws.
It is forbidden to say Allah hu Akbar in a loud voice.
“It is prohibited for a woman to recite verses from the Quran in front of another adult woman,” Religion Minister Khaled Hanafi said during an event in eastern Logar province. “Even shouting Takbeer (Allahu Akbar) is not allowed.” He said that a woman is not even allowed to give Azaan. The audio of Hanafi's remarks was shared on the ministry's social media platforms but was later removed. (Language)
