Los Angeles. Hollywood star Jeremy Allen White is ready for his upcoming project. The first look of Bruce Springsteen from his biopic 'Deliver Me from Nowhere' has been revealed.
Directed and written by Scott Cooper, 'Deliver Me from Nowhere' is based on Warren Zanes' book of the same name about the making of Springsteen's 1982 album 'Nebraska', reports 'Variety'. The shooting of the film is mainly going on in New York and Los Angeles. The film is going to be released in theaters next year.
According to the press release, Springsteen's recording of 'Nebraska' is considered a milestone in his musical career and has been cited as a source of inspiration for a generation of artists and musicians.
Recorded in Springsteen's New Jersey bedroom on a 4track recorder and without the E Street Band, 'Nebraska' is considered one of Springsteen's most brilliant works. A record that is full of confidence.
According to 'Variety' the cast also includes Stephen Graham as Springsteen's father, Paul Walter Hauser and Odessa Young as guitar tech Mike Batalon. Meanwhile, Odessa Young is rumored to be seen playing the role of the girlfriend.
Cooper said in a statement that beginning production on this film has been an incredibly humbling and thrilling journey. He said that Bruce Springsteen's 'Nebraska' has deeply shaped my artistry. The truth presented along with the beauty of life in the album connects deeply with me.
He said, “Our film aims to capture that same truth, beauty and emotion. Bringing Warren Zanes' story about Bruce's life to the screen in a hopeful way is truly honoring Bruce's popularity in a cinematic experience. It's been a pleasure to work with Bruce and John as I tell their story and their creativity fuels every part of this amazing journey.”
