Firozabad. An old man who was guarding a pet animal was murdered in Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh. The angry family members and villagers of the deceased have refused to pick up the body. A condition has been imposed for the arrest of those accused of murder.
An old man was murdered by slitting his throat with a sharp weapon in Mehtab Nagar area of Linepar police station of Firozabad. The name of the deceased was Mayaram. 68 year old Mayaram used to guard buffaloes.
As soon as information about the murder was received, the police reached the spot. Angry villagers and family members put a condition of not taking possession of the body until the miscreants are arrested.
A large number of policemen have been deployed at the spot to control the angry people. Police investigating the case said that Mayaram, who is 68 years old, his elder son had informed the police that his father had been murdered by some people.
Police said that on the complaint of the deceased's family, a case has been registered against seven named people under appropriate sections. Police teams have been formed to arrest the named accused and they will be caught soon.
According to the police, the legal process will be followed.
He further said that the family members had earlier also complained about the named accused. The family members complained to Head Constable Sudhir who was sent to the line with immediate effect. Police said that no one named has been arrested yet, one or two relatives of the named have been caught and they are being interrogated.
