Israel claimed on Monday that it has found Hezbollah's hidden treasure under a Beirut hospital. According to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), the bunker contained millions of dollars in cash and gold, which was reportedly used by Hezbollah. This disclosure was made by the Israeli Air Force on Sunday night and said that this secret treasure, in which a large number of dollars and gold was found, was found in an operation targeting the financial assets of Hezbollah.
IDF spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari detailed during a televised briefing, saying, “Tonight, I'm going to make public the intelligence on a site that we did not attack – where Hezbollah had the base of Hassan Nasrallah. The bunker contains millions of dollars of gold and cash. The bunker is located directly beneath Al-Sahel Hospital in the center of Beirut.”

Hagari said that despite the alleged presence of significant financial resources, we have not yet attacked the hospital. “According to estimates, at least half a billion dollars and a large amount of gold are stored in this bunker. This money is being used to rebuild Hezbollah in Lebanon,” he said.
Hezbollah and America have accused
Hagari claimed that one of the major targets was an underground vault containing millions of dollars in cash and gold, resources that were allegedly being used to finance attacks on Israel. Although Hagari did not clarify whether all funds were destroyed in the attack, he said further airstrikes could be expected, particularly targeting additional financial centers.
The attacks followed an intensified Israeli effort to disrupt Hezbollah's finances. According to IDF Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Harzi Halevi, the campaign included more than 300 attacks on Hezbollah targets in Lebanon, including important financial and logistics centers, in a 24-hour period.
What is Al Qard Al Hasan
Al-Qard al-Hassan has been operating in Lebanon since the 1980s, providing loans to Lebanese citizens against gold reserves. While officially classified as a charity, Israeli and US officials argue that the firm is a key asset in Hezbollah's financial network, allowing the group to launder money and finance its activities under the guise of civilian banking.
