Make natural mehendi with jaggery (How to make natural jaggery mehendi)
-
To make jaggery mehendi, cut about 100 grams of jaggery into small pieces. Now take a tin box i.e. an iron box and keep jaggery in it at the bottom.
-
Now make some space in it and place a small bowl, lamp or ceramic bowl in the middle. Now put 2 spoons of cloves around the jaggery. Put 1 spoon of kumkum or powdered vermillion in the bowl.
-
Now keep the tin can on the gas. Place a vessel filled with water on top of it which completely covers the box from above. To prevent steam from coming out from the sides, stick the vessel containing water on the tin with the help of flour.
-
After some time, when the water starts heating, steam will start forming in the box. You have to keep it like this for about half an hour and when the time is over, take the box off the gas without shaking it.
-
Now when it cools down, gently remove the water vessel from the top of the box. You will see that a lot of water must have collected in the bowl kept inside. When it cools down, take it out and mix it.
-
Natural mehndi made from jaggery is ready. You can apply it on your hands like alta or in the form of any mehndi design. To apply it, use cotton on a stick. As soon as it dries, the mehndi will acquire such a color that you will keep looking at it.
