Mathura: Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Mayawati has shown the way out of the party to veteran Mathura leader and former minister Shyamsundar Sharma. According to reports, this action has been taken against Sharma due to indiscipline. Let us tell you that Shyamsundar Sharma has held the post of cabinet minister in many governments of Uttar Pradesh. Shyamsundar Sharma's political stature can be gauged from the fact that before BSP, he had won the legislative elections on the tickets of Congress, Congress (Tiwari), Democratic Congress and Trinamool Congress.
'Action taken due to indiscipline'
According to the information given by BSP, former minister Shyamsundar Sharma, who was 8-time MLA from Mant assembly seat of Mathura district, has been expelled from the party for 6 years for anti-party activities and indiscipline in Haryana elections. Giving information about this, Party District President Satyaprakash Kardam told the media that this action has been taken on the instructions of Party National President Mayawati. He told that Shyamsundar Sharma was warned several times due to indiscipline, but there was no improvement in his working style.
Sharma had lost the election to Jayant Chaudhary
Kardam said that he has been expelled from the party for ignoring the warnings given by the party. Let us tell you that Sharma was elected MLA a total of 8 times from 1989 to 2017 from Mathura's Mant assembly seat. He had lost the MLA election from Mant only once in 2012 to the then Mathura MP Jayant Chaudhary, but after his resignation, Sharma again won the by-election held in the same year. In the 2022 assembly elections, he lost to Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Rajesh Chaudhary. Shyamsundar Sharma has been a cabinet minister in the governments of Mayawati, Kalyan Singh, Ramprakash Gupta and Rajnath Singh. (Language)
