Ghaziabad. Recently, a young man was murdered during a fight in Kavinagar police station of Ghaziabad. In this case, the police had registered a case against unknown people and started searching for them. Late last night, the police received information about the presence of two miscreants involved in this fight in the Kavinagar police station area. After which the police tried to catch them, but they opened fire on the police. After which the police also retaliated and a miscreant was arrested in an injured condition. While the other one has absconded, he is being searched.
According to the information received from the police, the wanted accused has been arrested during the encounter in this case which took place in Govindpuram of Kavinagar police station. A pistol of 315 bore and cartridges have been recovered from his possession.
Assistant Police Commissioner Kavi Nagar, Abhishek Srivastava has said that recently a person Rahul Singh was beaten up by unknown miscreants in the Kavi Nagar police station area. After which he died the next day. The police registered the case and formed teams for this incident. In this connection, the police came to know last night that some accused related to this incident are present in this area. After this the police started checking at various places.
Meanwhile, two youths riding a scooter were seen coming from NDRF Road, whom the police signaled to stop but they did not stop and they opened fire on the police. In retaliation, a criminal Manish alias Mangal was arrested after the encounter, who was shot dead by the police. Got injured and the other criminal Vicky has fled from the spot. Which is being searched.
According to the police, the arrested criminal told during interrogation that he had a dispute with Rahul Singh over money, after which he along with his associates beat up Rahul Singh and he died. Police is searching for other accused involved in this incident.
