The team of Kalyanpur police station of Udaipur district has exposed the incidents of theft of copper winding oil, nut bolt etc. from the electrical transformer and arrested three accused Bhaira son of Nana resident of Kagdar Phala Mandwa Rijua Valley police station Rishabhdev and Suresh son of Poonja and Praveen son of Valji resident Razol Phala. Udat police station Kalyanpur district Udaipur has succeeded in arresting. During preliminary interrogation, the accused have admitted to committing 23 crimes.
SP Yogesh Goyal said that on September 6, Junior Engineer of Electricity Department, Inderjit Singh, father of Rajendra Singh Shaktawat presented the report that on August 07, 2024, Gameti Phala Katev, on August 24, village Pahada, on August 28, village Pandaya Wada Rajput Mohalla and 02 In September, unknown miscreants damaged the electrical transformer in village Kanpur etc and stole copper winding, nut bolt and oil. After registering the case on the report, investigation was started.
Taking seriously the incidents of theft of oil, copper winding etc. in the district, damage to the electrical transformer, under the supervision of Additional Superintendent of Police Anjana Sukhwal and CO Rajeev Rahar, under the direction of SP Goyal, information collection and technical analysis was done today by a special team formed under the leadership of SHO Ummedilal. With the help of these three accused, 23 incidents have been exposed.

The accused would pull all three wires of the three phase lines passing around the power transformer together with a rope and tie them to a tree or a strong support. Due to which the main electric line would get faulted, then one of these persons would climb the electric pole and cut the cable of the main line connecting the transformer with a cutter made of iron and after tying the transformer with a rope, the three accused would pull it downwards from the pole and Drop down. Then they would open the transformer, steal the copper winding, oil and nuts and bolts and run away on the motorcycle.

During interrogation, the accused confessed to theft of copper winding, oil and nut bolt from 15 transformers in Kalyanpur area, theft of copper winding, oil and nut bolt from 01 transformer in police station Rishabhdev area, theft of copper winding, oil and nut bolt from 01 transformer in police station Khairwada area, police station Theft of copper winding and nut bolt from 01 transformer in Bawalwada area, theft of copper winding and nut bolt from 02 transformer in police station Parsad area and theft of copper winding and nut bolt from 03 transformer in police station Sarada area have been accepted.
