In a collision between two trucks in Kuchinda, Sambalpur, Odisha late on Sunday evening, both the drivers driving the trucks were burnt to death. This accident happened late on Sunday evening at around 7 pm. According to the information received, there was a head-on collision between a container and a truck on NH 53 near Kadlipala area of Jamankira police station area of Sambalpur. The collision between the two trucks was so strong that both the trucks caught fire after the collision. The fire was so terrible that the drivers of the trucks could not come out and both of them burnt to death on the spot.

In this accident, a passenger traveling in the truck has been rescued and has been admitted to Sambalpur District Headquarters Hospital in a critical condition where he is undergoing treatment. According to the information, a team of fire fighters from Jamankira reached the spot and after extinguishing the fire, the bodies of both the drivers were taken out of the truck. The local police has started investigating the case by sending the bodies to the hospital for post-mortem.
