BCCI is going to organize Under19 Vinoo Mankad Trophy in Delhi from 4th October. Kartik Sharma has been selected on the basis of his performance. District Cricket Association Bharatpur Secretary Shatrughan Tiwari said that the Under19 Vinoo Mankad Trophy is starting in Delhi from October 4. In which Karthik Sharma, resident of Bharatpur district, has been selected for the Rajasthan Under19 team. Besides, Karthik Sharma has also been declared the captain of Under19 Rajasthan team by the junior selection committee. Karthik Sharma will be the captain for 5 matches.
District Cricket Association Bharatpur Secretary Shatrughan Tiwari said that the first match of Rajasthan team will be against Mumbai on October 4. The second match will be held from Pondicherry on 6 October. The third match will be played against Vidarbha on 8 October. The fourth match will be played against Arunachal Pradesh on 10th October and the fifth match will be played against Saurashtra on 12th October.
The Secretary of the District Cricket Association said that Karthik Sharma is the first player to become the captain of any team in the state. Recently, Karthik Sharma had scored 960 runs in 12 matches including the state level Under19 cricket competition, Challenger Trophy and camp matches organized by Rajasthan Cricket Association. Which was with an average of 80. Karthik Sharma has been selected on the basis of this performance. Karthik Sharma has played Under16, Rajasthan Under19.
